Speech-Language Therapy

SLT supports communication and swallowing recovery with multiple evidence-based protocols. The session covers aphasia therapy (MIT melodic intonation, CIAT constraint-induced aphasia, SCA supported conversation), dysarthria management, dysphagia evaluation (FEES, VFSS modified barium swallow), augmentative communication (PRC, Tobii Dynavox, eye-gaze systems), post-laryngectomy voice restoration (electrolarynx, TEP, esophageal speech), and pediatric SLT. Discussion addresses LSVT LOUD in Parkinson's, high-tech vs low-tech AAC, SLT in TBI and post-encephalitis, voice therapy for transgender clients, swallowing therapy in neurodegenerative disease, and telerehab SLT platforms.
